What this is
This site reproduces the public docket of Joyce v. ARB Gaming LLC, No. 2:25-cv-01868-DJC-CSK, a civil case pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. Every numbered public docket entry from ECF 1 through ECF 123 appears exactly as the Court entered it; for ECF 122 and 123 the text is taken from the Court’s Notices of Electronic Filing until CourtListener carries it.
How the docket is reproduced
Docket entries are reproduced verbatim, including any clerical and typographical errors in the original. No entry is summarized, excerpted, or selected. Each docket page opens with a short summary in the operator’s own words, marked as such; the entries below it are the Court’s text. Everything here is open, including how it was built. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, and nothing about you is collected or sold. Each entry carries the clerk’s trailing (Entered: …) stamp exactly as it appears on the docket. Unnumbered clerk “service by mail” notations are omitted; they carry no ECF number.
Accuracy and source material
Every document referenced here is a public record. The originals live on the Court’s own systems — PACER and the free mirror at CourtListener — and every entry on this site links out so you can check it against the Court’s docket yourself.
The Court keeps the full record of this case public. PACER, the Court’s own system, charges a small per-page fee to read it; everything reproduced here has already been paid for, so nobody needs a PACER account or has to pay anything to read it. I want everyone to have the same access to the courts.
If any entry here is found to differ from the Court’s docket, it will be corrected and the correction recorded below.
Docket text last verified against the Court’s docket on October 3, 2026. Site last updated October 3, 2026.

Entries 120–123 added (122 and 123 from the Court’s Notices of Electronic Filing). The operator’s page summaries, added earlier the same day, were corrected on entries 34, 53, 55, 74, 75, 80, 84 and 100. No other entry text changed.

Reality
This site is run by the plaintiff in the case. This is the third time I have had to represent myself in federal court, and it is hard to be heard when you are outnumbered and outfinanced. I’m still here because free and open tools for reaching the courts exist — CourtListener and its RECAP archive, built by the nonprofit Free Law Project.
I’m not an attorney. I don’t have a law degree and I’ve never studied law. I’m a plaintiff in complex litigation without counsel, navigating it the best I can and never fully sure I’m making the right call. Proceeding pro se, and making my filings public, is the best option I have right now. This site is not legal advice and shouldn’t be relied on by anyone with a case of their own. I can’t help with or answer questions about another person’s matter — only an attorney can do that. Everyone will tell you to get a lawyer. They’re correct.
The site is strictly noncommercial: no ads, no donations, nothing for sale.
Thanks to the people who hung in there with me.
